Product Description

Kotlet – Persian (we like to think so) meat and potato patties. This must be the ultimate Persian comfort food. Like Bolognese to Italians. Like all good things in life its the simple things that count. The funny thing is that its not really Persian. It came from the Russian wilderness up north and was claimed and gentrified by the Persians and now we consider it as our birthright. Whatever the origins who cares, all I know is that they taste bloody delicious. Here I have made them as finger food which is the challenge I set myself this week. Normally they are flatter and bigger. They are consumed alone, with salad or in sandwiches.

Ingredients:

• Meat
• Potatos
• Onions
• Eggs
• Salt & peeper
• Saffron
• Turmeric
• Oil and/or butter
• Bread crumbs
