Fessenjoon ba Ordak
Duck Breast with Pomegranate and Walnut
Fessenjoon is such a delicate and sublime dish. Its one of the rare Persian recipes which has duck as a main ingredient. As with most Persian dishes the delicate blend of spices, does wonders on your taste buds.
I dont make Fessenjoon the tradional way. I like to make a crispy Duck Breast which I serve with the Fessenjoon. I like the texture of the crispy skin.
Fessenjoon is served with Chelo (Persian style steamed Basmati rice).
