Sour Cherry Rice
Albaloo (sour cherry) Polo is one of the most delicious meals that I have ever eaten, if prepared properly. Its one of the sweet Polo’s and many people have the tendency to go overboard on the sweetness, which renders it off putting. In my humble opinion, that is! The real Albaloo Polo is very seasonal, the Albaloo season in the summer is not very long. One can make Albaloo Polo with frozen Albaloos or Albaloo jam but its not as good. Its not easy to make either as the Albaloos are extremely fragile and can lose their aspect very easily. Regretfully I am a better cook than photographer and the photos of the final product did not come out well so we have the work in progress until I make it again.
